The Ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification’s (MMERE) Organisational Structure is set up in such a way to allow the Ministry’s 5 Technical Divisions to oversee and implement the Ministry’s key mandates. The Ministry’s Corporate Services plays a supporting role to the Technical Divisions. The Technical Divisions are each headed by a Director while the Corporate Services Division is headed by a Human Resources Manager. The Directors and the Human Resource Manager all report to the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary and Undersecretaries. Together, these Divisional Heads and their superiors form the Ministry’s Executive Management which is responsible for policy matters and decision making on overall strategic issues.
